On April 3, 2026, with the final pouring of concrete, the main structure of the Marine‑Derived Food‑Medicine Homologous Raw Material Project invested by Jiangsu Aoxin Biological Engineering Co., Ltd. was officially topped‑out. The total investment for this Phase‑II project reaches 280 million RMB.

Breaking ground on July 8, 2025, this modern industrial base has achieved physical completion from blueprint in less than nine months, with a building area of nearly 20,000 m² for the main structure. This milestone marks a new phase of construction progress for the whole project.
As a pioneer in China’s marine biological industry, this Phase‑II development represents a strategic upgrade built upon the existing Phase‑I facility.
- Phase‑I, with an investment of 65 million RMB, has completed over 10,000 m² of GMP‑compliant production workshops and supporting systems, focusing on health food ingredients, functional nutrition raw materials and biomedical feedstocks.
- The new Phase‑II project adds new production workshops, raw‑material & finished‑goods warehouses and other auxiliary facilities, bringing total construction area to more than 30,000 m².
- An automated sewage treatment & recycling system with 2,000‑ton daily processing capacity is built onsite, demonstrating AOXIN’s commitment to green environmental protection alongside high‑quality industrial growth.
Upon full operation, the Phase‑II project is projected to generate an additional annual output value of 500 million RMB. Planned annual production capacities are listed below:
- 2,000 tons of food‑grade glucosamine hydrochloride
- 2,000 tons of pharmaceutical‑grade refined glucosamine sulfate
- 2,300 tons of food‑grade chitosan and chitosan acetate
- 300 tons of enzymatic chitosan oligosaccharides
- 35 tons of novel chitosan‑based pharmaceutical excipients and medical‑material derivatives
- 1,500 tons of co‑produced chondroitin & type‑II collagen peptide

Once fully commissioned, the facility will deliver intelligent manufacturing and new quality productive forces, bringing substantial capacity expansion and further consolidating AOXIN’s leading position within marine biomaterials and global health‑nutrition industry.
According to the master construction timeline:
- July 2026: Completion of plant construction
- December 2026: GMP workshop for novel pharmaceutical excipients starts production
- March 2027: Chitosan series workshops go online
- November 2027: Full‑scale commissioning of the entire Phase‑II project
When finished, a complete modern marine‑biology industrial base integrating R&D, manufacturing, processing, sales and technical services will be fully established at this site.
